Health Group gets bigger space in Springhill Building
- Michelle Hele (Courier Mail Newspaper, Brisbane)
Prime Health Group has moved up in the world, jumping from level one to a much larger holding on the top floor of a Spring Hill, inner Brisbane, property.
The group has commited to a six-year lease at 62 Astor Tce. The move gives the entire top floor of 387sq m plus the bonus of a balcony of about 400sq m, which wraps around the top floor.
Prime has relocated its Ekco Occupational Services to level three and amalgamated it with a dedicated occupational medicine service led by Dr Robert McCartney. Dr McCartney is Prime's national director of Occupational Medicine.
The clinic that now occupies the space has been custom built for the buisiness development manager Shawn Murphy said the group was excited about being able to service its national and local clients out of the building.
It has new premises at Spring Hill, Carole Park, Springwood and shortly will open another office at Brisbane Airport.
The lease in the astor Tce property was handled by Trident corporation.
Bernie McKeering of Trident said the building's common areas were about to undergo refurbishment, which Trident Corporation has been appointed to project manage.
This will include refurbishment of the building forecourt and new finishes to the entry and foyer.
The ground floor is fully occupied and levels one and two are being offered for lease.
Mr McKeering said the ability to have an entire floor in the building and the enormous deck area on the third floor tenancy was a real drawcard for Prime.
"There was also the ability for them to have a new tanancy fitted out that ideally suited their needs going forward," Mr McKeering said. A tenancy of this nature would be expected to lease for $440sq m a year gross.
