New Women in Rail Networking Group
Rail specialist recruiter and member of the Total Recruitment Group, OnlineRail in Victoria has launched Women in Rail Networking and Social Group and Facebook page to give an opportunity for women in the male dominated rail sector to socialise and support each other.
The Group has been established in cooperation with MW Engineers and Prime Health Group.
The coordinator of the event, Helen Stephens said that the event aims to bring together women who represent the rail industry in Victoria.
"This is a great opportunity for all women involved in the rail industry to catch up once a quarter in an informal, social environment to discuss the various aspects of the industry from a female perspective."
In addition to the networking group OnlineRail have created a Facebook fan page to promote and support somen in the rail industry. As well as promoting the networking group the page aims to provide a space for women in the rail industry to discuss issues they are passionate about.
